Last year FA Premier League side Tottenham released a special ‘Cup’ shirt for their debut season in the UEFA Champions League, here we have an image of the new Spurs Cup Kit.
This will be Puma’s last season designing and manufacturing the Spurs Football Kits, Under Armour will take over at the end of the 2011/12 season.
Tottenham’s Special Edition Cup shirt is has a base colour of white, whilst the Puma cat logos, Spurs badge and official cup shirt sponsors Investec have their name in navy blue.
The kit will be completed with white shorts and white socks.
Tottenham will be using this strip in all cup competitions including the Europa League, League Cup and the FA Cup.
Here we have a leaked image of what appears to be the new Tottenham Hotspur home shirt for the 2011/12 English Premier League season.
Tottenham are due to unveil their new home, away and third Puma football kits on Monday 20th June, but we have and image of the new Tottenham home shirt that was leaked on fashion website.
As you can see the shirt is plain white with only the navy blue Puma logo’s on both sleeves and the right breast. Tottenham’s badge also coloured navy blue will appear on the left breast.
Although the shirt doesn’t contain a sponsor in the image, the description on the Very.co.uk website states ‘Supplied with sponsors logo’, which suggests current shirt sponsors Autonomy’s name will be the last thing added to the top.
Didier Drogba looks set to snub a move to Italian giants AC Milan and make the trip across London to Spurs.
The north Londoners are in pole position to land the Chelsea striker whose days at Stamford Bridge have been numbered since the arrival of Fernando Torres for a British transfer record fee of £50m.
A striker is a top priority for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp and 33-year-old Drogba fits the profile with 145 goals in 306 games for Chelsea.
Jermain Defoe, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Peter Crouch scored just 17 Premier League goals between them last season, one of the reasons Spurs dropped out of the Champions League places.
Drogba is Redknapp’s top target, but his wages are the only stumbling block. Spurs will have to smash their wage structure to land the Ivorian who is also attracting interest from Manchester City, a move which would see him united with Ivory Coast teammates Kolo and Yaya Toure.
The Stamford Bridge clear-out has already started with defender Michael Mancienne joining Hamburg while the futures of Michael Essien, Alex, Salomon Kalou, Yuri Zhirkov and Florent Malouda still remain uncertain.
Manchester United and Chelsea look to lure Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric by tripling his pay to £130,000 per week – report Spurs man wants Champions League football again after this year’s experience and could see massive pay rise by moving to one of the top two Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly ready to offer a staggering triple pay rise to star midfielder Luka Modric to entice the player to leave Tottenham in the summer.
The 25-year-old, who would attract a transfer fee of around £30million, is currently on a £45,000 a week deal at White Hart Lane.
However, the Croatian could bump his wage up to at least £130,000 a week if he joins either Chelsea or United and would also have the opportunity of playing in the prestigious Champions League again. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could make an exception to his wage structure to keep Modric at White Hart Lane but he will not offer as much as Chelsea or United.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has made it clear he has no intention of selling any of his top talent but perhaps there is a fear that an offer of the kind illustrated by this source may tempt the Croatian into leaving the North London club. A failure to secure Champions League football has led many to believe that some of White Hart Lane’s star turns may seek a move this summer.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been linked with moves to bring in more creativity to the club’s midfield and has also been strongly linked with moves for Gareth Bale and Rafael Van der Vaart. Modric would add more of a link between midfield and attack and the former Dinamo Zagreb midfielder is a more offensive weapon than the likes of Michael Carrick, Anderson, Paul Scholes and Darren Fletcher.
Chelsea may see Modric as a potential long term replacement for veteran Frank Lampard and Roman Abramovich seems keen on splashing the cash and flexing his financial muscle having spent big to sign David Luiz and Fernando Torres in January. No doubt Tottenham will be looking to offer Modric an improved deal to help scare off prospective suitors but fortunately for Redknapp it does seem that the 25 year old seems very happy at the club.

Rarely can a poisoned chalice have been so fiercely contested.
Liverpool have long aspired to the Europa League as the only coronation gift available to Kenny Dalglish; Tottenham Hotspur have long scorned it as an unwelcome consolation. Seeing their Thursday nights booked up is hardly a prize either will treasure; both fought until their last breath to earn the right to complain, long and loud, next season.
Spurs are worthy of what will, if they beat Birmingham next week, be their place in Europe, although justice was only done in the most unjust of circumstances. They deserve it for this display and this season. They started brightly, endured a predictable dip and ended on a high. Both in this display and in this season.
But that their guests are better prepared, equipped and suited to an autumn of far-flung travel will not assuage Liverpool’s anger. Dalglish’s side fell behind to a fortuitous opener from Rafael van der Vaart and they lost thanks to the sort of decision which would have sent Ryan Babel scrambling to Photoshop.
Even Spurs seemed taken aback to see Howard Webb point to the spot when John Flanagan and Steven Pienaar’s shoulders collided outside the box. There was no intent from either party; Webb’s decision, and Luka Modric’s coolness, certainly spoiled one.
“I’m not here to sponsor the FA,” Dalglish said. “It is just unhelpful to everyone that we cannot express our true thoughts and it’s even more disappointing that the officials get away scot-free without having to come and explain their decisions.”
That anger was manifest in the Scot’s fans and players, too. On this of all days, when Dalglish was unveiled to a deafening roar as the club’s permanent manager, when Fenway Sports Group, the owners who have done so much to steer Anfield back on course, were present. Little wonder Pepe Reina, Lucas and Martin Skrtel were so ruthless in dealing with a streaker. It was no laughing matter.
Yet hindsight will tell them that sixth place, after the start to their season, is a feat. It will tell them that Spurs deserved this, Webb or no Webb. It will tell them, too, that for all Redknapp’s insistence that he has no interest in the Champions League’s ugly sister, he knows – to misquote Ian Holloway – that it is better to go home at the end of the night with someone, rather than all alone.
“I scared them into it,” the Spurs manager said. “I told them that if we qualified through the Fair Play league, we’d be back playing in June. We are not fighting for the Europa League. We are fighting for fifth, because you want to finish as high as you can.”
It worked. Spurs started excellently, pressing high, suffocating their hosts. Van der Vaart’s opener, volleyed in off Glen Johnson, was ample reward.
Andy Carroll missed the best chance of the half by ballooning a Skrtel cross over, while Luis Suárez, usually electrifying, offered the Kop the odd jolt rather than full charge.
When Webb intervened, Liverpool could not muster a response. Anfield will not be blessed with Europe next season. Spurs, now that they are there, may not appreciate it, but Liverpool will tell them that, even with poisoned chalices, you do not know what you’ve got until it’s gone.

Gareth Bale will miss the remainder of the Premier League season after a scan confirmed he suffered a ruptured ankle ligament in the club’s 1-1 draw with Blackpool at the weekend.
Tottenham confirmed the PFA Player of the Year will wear a protective boot for the next 12 days before starting a rehabilitation regime and despite the seriousness of the injury he is expected to be fit for the start of pre-season training.
Bale was forced off in the 1-1 draw following a robust challenge from Blackpool captain Charlie Adam and the Wales international’s most impressive season to date has now ended prematurely.
Harry Redknapp had already speculated Bale would miss the games against Manchester City, Liverpool and Birmingham and after consulting an ankle specialist his fears were confirmed.
“It’s badly swollen, his ankle. We will just have to wait and see how bad the damage is,” Redknapp said before the results of the scan were known.
“It’s a blow but we have been without Gareth quite a bit recently.
“He has had injuries and he hasn’t really come back from those injuries to the form (he was in before).
“It’s been difficult for him. The injuries have knocked him back.
“He has had a fantastic season. The first three-quarters of the season, he was unplayable. He was making goals and scoring goals and he won player of the year.
“Over the last couple of months the injury has taken its toll on him. During that time he hasn’t quite been the same boy and now he has another injury that rules him out again.”
Bale’s likely absence from the run in is a big blow to the Londoners whose otherwise fantastic season risks ending on a downbeat note with there participation in Europe next season in doubt due to a string of damaging draws and the resurgence of Liverpool.
Redknapp refused to be overly critical of Adam, with the Blackpool midfielder also insisting he never meant to hurt Bale.
“I just saw the ball, I just tried to get it,” said Adam. “It was never intentional, I never tried to hurt him because he’s a wonderful player and at the end of the day I’d rather see these players on the pitch.”
Adam came close to an 11th-hour move to White Hart Lane, and despite a dip in form, Spurs and Liverpool have been linked with a summer transfer for the midfielder.
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway denied the 25-year-old would definitely be leaving, saying: “I am not resigned to losing him.”
Redknapp also ruled out lodging another bid for the Scot despite seeing him score the opening goal in Saturday’s draw from the penalty spot before Jermain Defoe equalised in the 89th minute.
“Charlie Adam is a good player but the closest I came to signing him was at 10.10pm on deadline day,” Redknapp said.
“I didn’t lose any sleep over it. I would have liked him to come here because is a very good player but I have a lot of good footballers here. Sandro is improving, (Luka) Modric is fantastic, Tom Huddlestone will be back, (Wilson) Palacios is getting fit hopefully.”
Arsenal and Tottenham have been put on red alert after reports in France claim coveted striker Gervinho has rejected a new deal at Lille.
Magazine France Football claims the player's agent has announced the Ivorian will not be signing a contract extension with the Ligue 1 side after an offer was tabled last month.
The French club have now slapped a £10.5m price tag on Gervinho and will look to push through any move this summer in order to avoid losing him for free next year when his deal expires.
Arsene Wenger and Harry Redknapp are both rumoured to be interested in the player, who has scored 25 goals in 54 appearances for Lille, while German giants Bayern Munich are also said to be looking at the 23-year-old.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are chasing more than the final Europa League place as they prepare to battle for West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green.
Managers Harry Redknapp and Kenny Dalglish are keeping tabs on the 31-year-old who is a free agent in the summer and can leave Upton Park for free.
Spurs’ boss Redknapp has finally run out of patience with keeper Heurelho Gomes after a string of high-profile blunders, most recently in the London derby with Chelsea.
Dalglish is aware of the interest from other clubs being shown in shot-stopper Pepe Reina as the Spaniard is desperate to play in the Champions League.
The Anfield manager does not want to lose his number one but knows any £20million bid from a Champions League club will trigger a release cause in his contract.
Reports suggest Dalglish is also after Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris but Green is seen as a cheaper alternative.
Both clubs are hopeful of taking advantage of West Ham’s relegation problems to sign the England international.
Green, who made a huge gaffe in last summer’s World Cup costing England a vital win over the USA, would jump at the chance to play for a high-profile club.
Old Trafford boss ready to make summer move for White Hart Lane duo.
Manchester United are ready to make a double Tottenham swoop this summer as Sir Alex Ferguson prepares bids for Gareth Bale and Rafael Van Der Vaart. The Old Trafford boss will be encouraged in any move for either White Hart Lane star if the North London club fail to secure a top four finish and miss out on Champions League football for next term.
Ferguson has targeted both Tottenham stars for some months and is looking to bring in new additions that can help resolve areas of his first team that he feels he can add quality to. The Scot has been looking to bring in a goalscoring midfielder and has identified Dutch international Van der Vaart as the ideal man for the job.
The former Real Madrid man arrived at Tottenham last summer for a fee of just £8m and Ferguson is willing to offer around three times that fee and will hope that the 28 year old will be tempted by a move to a club that can offer him the chance of winning major honours. Van der Vaart has been an instant success in the Premier League netted 12 goals and 8 assists thus far this season.
Whilst Ferguson has a number of central midfield options the likes of Darren Fletcher, Anderson, Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick do not offer much in the way of a goal threat hence the move for the Tottenham playmaker.
Man United are also looking for a long term replacement for Ryan Giggs and believe that young Welsh winger Gareth Bale is the best man for the job and even though the 21 year old has recently signed a long term contract extension Ferguson will make a significant offer for the former Southampton man.
The Premier League table toppers plan to trim their squad to make way for new arrivals with the likes of Michael Owen and Owen Hargreaves likely to not be offered new deals when their current deals run out and the under performing stars Jonny Evans, Darron Gibson as well as on loan youngsters Danny Welbeck and Federico Macheda may be offloaded.
Sir Alex Ferguson has also been promised money for new additions regardless of the levels of debt reportedly placed on the club.
