New Manchester City 2011/12 Away Kits




After a season which saw extreme ups and down’s Manchester City have finally ended their long trophy wait. After thirty long fruitless years, the Citizens finally ended their Silverware drought wining the FA cup at Wembley against Stoke City, the same day their derby rivals Manchester United clinched the Barclays Premiere League.

Now they have something to compensate for their extravagant spending since they were bought in 2008 by oil-rich UAE’s Abu Dhabi United Group. According to Details City splashed over £250million since the Middle Eastern Groups takeover just to compete among England’s and Europe’s elite.

Manchester City F.C, founded as St. Mark’s (West Gorton), in 1880 and who later became Ardwick Association F.C in 1887, have managed this season, not just to win the FA cup but also clinched automatic qualification for next years UEFA Champions League by finishing third in the Barclays Premiere League. City’s efforts to achieve major silverware in the last three years is worth acknowledgement but the lack of foresight has resulted in financial losses for the club, The belief at Eastlands that progress is inevitable has worked positively for City.
