Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has admitted he wants to bring Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Eastlands in the summer.
Ibrahimovic is currently on loan at AC Milan from Barcelona, and the Sweden international insists he is happy to stay with the new Serie A champions.
However, it is ultimately Barca's decision whether or not Ibrahimovic stays in Italy, returns to Catalonia or moves elsewhere and it has been reported that an offer of £20 million would be enough to tempt the La Liga leaders into a sale.
City have secured their place in next season's Champions League and so Roberto Mancini will find it much easier to attract some of the game's biggest stars.
Up front they already have the likes of Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko, but with Carlos Tevez looking ever likely to move to Inter Milan, Mancini has space for a new forward.
Mancini said: "If Zlatan wants to come to City, I would immediately find a place for him."
While players like David Silva and Yaya Toure have been a hit at Eastlands, other Mancini signings have been less successful.
Dzeko has flopped since his £27 million switch from Wolfsburg. And while there is no doubt Balotelli has talent, his temperament has caused the club frequent embarrassment since they paid Inter £24m for him.
Mancini, though, is not prepared to give up on the 20 year-old. Mancini said: "He will definitely stay. Mario is an ongoing bet. He has shown he has all the right qualities but needs to do more, much more, to give sense to his talent."
